Bold Visions Conservation has always made the protection of our public lands and wildlife a priority. Executive Director Stephen Capra, spent nine years hiring staff, coordinating actions and managing the campaigns that led to the designation of two National Monuments in New Mexico-the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks and the Rio Grande del Norte. Since that time and the founding of Bold Visions, we have worked to fight public lands grazing, rescued prairie dogs that were being poisoned and relocated them to Media Mogul Ted Turner’s Ladder Ranch. We have organized conservation groups in North Carolina to fight proposed off-shore oil and gas development and organized a wolf forum in Idaho to work with other small groups across the West, to fight the senseless killing of wolves in the wild and worked to expand their range. We have created a new documentary to protect Chaco Canyon and are traveling the state to support the Navajo and Hopi Nations and to fight drilling on our public lands. Finally, we have worked our state Senate and House to gain resolutions of support for protecting the Ah-She-Sli-Pah Wilderness Study area that borders Chaco Canyon and to protect more of the Badlands in Northwestern New Mexico. We have been a voice of opposition through our honest and heartfelt writing, to the Trump Administration and the Republican majority that have made our environment and wildlife, a National Sacrifice Area! We have so much work to do and need your support to make these protections a reality. Please become a member of Bold Visions today and support our efforts to protect the lands, waters and species that have no voice!
